The First United Methodist Church of Saline needed more room to serve its congregation better. They hired A.R. Brouwer Company to construct a two-story addition to the existing south wing of the church. The new construction combined a structural steel frame with load-bearing masonry walls. A brick veneer was included to match the existing building. Two stairways and an elevator were installed to connect the first floor and basement. The existing fire protection system was extended throughout the new space. The lower level houses the Jr. and Sr. High School ministries and the main level is used as a multi-purpose room.
