A.R. Brouwer Company is pleased to announce that Ken Westfall has joined the firm as Senior Vice President. Ken offers more than 20 years of experience as a structural engineer.
Before running his own structural engineering consulting company in Ann Arbor, Ken worked for various large architectural and engineering firms in the Midwest. His extensive background includes structural design management, structural systems, components for building structures, business accounting and finance, strategic business operations, and corporate growth.
Steve Brouwer, President and founder of A.R. Brouwer, and Dave Niswonger, Vice President of Operations, have worked with Ken on previous projects. “Ken brings a wealth of experience and knowledge that will complement and elevate our construction services. The entire company is excited to welcome him to the A.R. Brouwer team,” said Steve.
Ken holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a concentration in structures from the University of Michigan. He also earned a Master of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University.
When he is not working, Ken loves spending time with his wife, Dr. Alizia Westfall, DDS, and supports, Avaleigh, his daughter’s diving (springboard and platform). He also enjoys playing golf and Michigan football.
