Steve holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan, and has over 30 years of industry experience. From 1985 to 1994 he worked in commercial construction as a project manager and estimator. In 1994 Steve was promoted to Director of Estimating, and worked as such until 1998 when he founded A.R. Brouwer Company in Dexter, Michigan.
Steve continues to serve as President of A.R. Brouwer Company, performing the majority of the sales and estimating work, as well as managing the firm.
David NiswongerVice President
Dave holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University, with a double major in Marketing and Management. Dave has over 19 years of experience as a Project Manager and Estimator, and over 23 years in the construction industry. Joining A.R. Brouwer Company in 2003 as a Project Manager, Dave accepted the role of Vice President in 2004. Dave’s responsibilities as Vice President include project management, as well as overseeing operations.
JEFF LOVELANDSENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Jeff has over 30 years of commercial and residential construction management experience. He holds a Degree in Business Administration, Operations and Management. Jeff’s responsibilities as Senior Project Manager include project management, as well as managing the sales and estimating processes. His multi- faceted role involves coordinating with architects, engineers and owners throughout all phases of projects, providing value engineering, developing schedules and budgets, and managing projects to ensure timely completion within the allocated budget.
Ray holds a Bachelor's Degree in Science and Construction Engineering from Lawrence Tech University. Joining A.R. Brouwer Company in 2011 with over 30 years of working in the industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in on-site supervision of various types of commercial buildings. His experience includes, wellness centers, clean rooms, retail and athletic centers.
Barry Boyes brings over 20 years of construction experience. Joining our team in 2016, he has over 15 years experience owning a residential construction and lawn care company. During this time, he also completed small commercial projects. His experience includes overseeing the construction of clubhouses, interior office renovations and Aldi Grocery Store renovations.
Jodi TrisdaleMarketing Manager
Jodi holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University. Jodi joined the A.R. Brouwer Company team in April of 2014, and has over 19 years of experience in professional office management and administration. Jodi brings experience in marketing and business development.
Allison BishopProperty & Development Manager
Allison holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan in Environmental Policy and Behavior and a Master’s Degree (2003) from Eastern Michigan University in Urban and Regional Planning. With over 15 years of professional experience in planning, zoning, property development and government administration in Washtenaw County, Allison joined the A.R. Brouwer Company team in 2013. Allison is using her expertise as Development and Property Manager for the company’s nine properties, creating local development opportunities for the firm, and is also an integral part of the planning and development stages for projects.
Mary Kaye LaFontaineAccountant
Mary Kaye holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biology and Chemistry from Eastern Michigan University. Mary Kaye joined A.R. Brouwer Company in 2008, and has over 16 years of industry-specific accounting experience for commercial construction projects and managed properties.
Liz o'donnellAdministrative Assistant
Liz holds an Associates Degree in Business Administration. She has over 10 years of experience working in administration. Joining our team in 2018, her multi-faceted role includes coordinating project start up and close out activities. Liz provides administrative support to each project and its team from start to finish.
